[BBAC: Board Contact with District Professional Advisors]

The District retains a number of professionals, including attorneys, accountants, and architects, to advise the District and to provide services within their professional expertise. When those services are billed on an hourly basis, multiple contacts with the professional can lead to additional costs to the District. Accordingly, any School Board member request for information, advice or representation from such professional may take place only with the specific prior authorization of the Superintendent, Board Chairman, or Board Vice-Chairman.
