[DJD: Cooperative Purchasing]

The Board, at its option, may join in cooperative purchasing with other school districts or governmental agencies, including piggybacking, to take advantage of lower prices for bulk purchasing and to reduce the administrative costs involved in bidding. The Superintendent or designee may contact nearby superintendents or governmental officials from time to time to assess whether such an arrangement is feasible and appropriate.
