WELCOME

The program of studies is the course catalog for Manchester’s high schools. The document has received a large overhaul for the coming school year. Bigger picture, we are working to overhaul the way we engage with students and families during the course selection process. Our hope is to make the process as clear and smooth as possible.

In the month of February, schools will be holding information sessions on the course selection process with students and families in Grade 8-Grade 11. In addition, many of our community partner organizations are holding events to share information with families.

Xello logo

Hello, Xello!

This year, students starting from middle school up to high school have begun using a program called Xello. The general idea behind Xello is that, early on, students begin exploring potential career pathways. Xello helps students build the skills, knowledge and plans to be ready for their future. This fits in nicely with our revised course catalog, helping students understand which paths they can take to get where they want to go.  For middle school students in particular, using Xello will be especially helpful as they begin thinking about high school.

You can learn more about Xello and the student experience at www.xello.world.
