Preschool special education programs can be provided in community-based early childhood settings. The Manchester School District has developed formal agreements with three early care/education centers, having trained and worked successfully with the staff in these centers for more than 20 years. These early childhood educators are experienced in supporting young children with special needs and flexible in making the regular curriculum accessible for children with Individual Education Plans. The participating community-based centers include:
