MANCHESTER – Manchester Proud is seeking nominations for its second Student Volunteer Awards. The awards were created to recognize students whose volunteer engagement demonstrates deep commitment to impacting the lives of others and the greater community. Students who attend any of Manchester School District’s four high schools are eligible to apply.
If you’re a student, you can apply for the award directly, or if you know a deserving student, you can nominate them. Applications and nominations are due by April 7. Winners will be recognized at a Board of School Committee meeting and receive a $500 cash award.
You can complete the application or nomination form online – on the form, students should outline their volunteer activities and answer questions about their experiences. Submissions must include a recommendation from an adult community member.
