On Saturday, June 15, we celebrate the Class of 2024! Graduations for all four high schools will be held back-to-back at the SNHU Arena in downtown Manchester. Our high schools have been hard at work making final preparations for graduation ceremonies.

While each high school will be sharing school-specific information, this post includes general details for all schools. In particular, please note information on parking and road closures. This page will be updated with additional information.

Here is some general information about the graduations:

Schedule of ceremonies:

  • Manchester School of Technology High School

    • Event starts at 8 a.m.

    • Doors open at 7:40 a.m.

  • Manchester Memorial High School

    • Event starts at 10 a.m.

    • Doors open at 9 a.m.

  • Manchester High School West

    • Event starts at 2 p.m.

    • Doors open at 1 p.m.

  • Manchester Central High School

    • Event starts at 5:30 p.m.

    • Doors open at 4:30 p.m.

Arrival and seating:

  • All guests must enter through the arena’s main entrance

  • Please be respectful if you arrive while a prior ceremony is still taking place

  • No tickets are required

  • Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis

What you can bring in:

The arena has a “Clear Bag Policy” – guests can bring personal belongings in a CLEAR tote not to exceed 12”x12”x6". Wristlets are permitted but may not exceed 4" x 6" x 1"

Downtown events Saturday:

The Pride Parade and Festival will be taking place Saturday during graduation ceremonies, which will impact parking and access. Please plan accordingly.

  • The Pride Festival will take place in Veterans Park from noon-6 p.m. Central Street will be closed between Chestnut and Elm Streets for the entirety of the festival.

  • The Pride Parade will take place on Elm Street beginning at 11:15 a.m. Elm Street will be CLOSED between Webster and Granite Streets during the parade. Also, the Bridge Street Bridge will be closed from 10:45 am-1 pm.

Parking and road accessibility:

  • Please see information above on Pride Parade and Festival, which are taking place downtown Saturday

  • Parking is available at all city meters, parking garages and parking lots – there is no general parking on site; Additional paid event parking is available near the arena, including the Center of New Hampshire garage

  • If you need accessible parking for graduation, please contact your student’s school to make arrangements

Language interpretation:

We plan to have live language interpretation available for all graduation ceremonies for the following languages:

  • Spanish

  • Swahili

  • Lingala

  • Kinyarwanda

  • Arabic

  • Portuguese

  • French

  • Creole

In order to take advantage of this, we ask that you bring a mobile phone and headphones with you. To get set up at the graduation, enter the arena and look for tables to your left. Our staff will be there to assist you.

American Sign Language interpretation:

We plan to have American Sign Language interpretation available for all graduation ceremonies. The interpreter will be positioned in front of the stage.

Video broadcast:

All graduation ceremonies will be broadcast live by Manchester Public Television, and will later be available for on-demand viewing. You can watch the ceremonies live on the cable broadcast on Xfinity Channel 16 or streaming online at https://www.manchestertv.org/16.
