MANCHESTER – West High School business teacher Tracy Muehling received the New Hampshire Business Education Association’s 2025 Achievement Award, as business educator of the year.
Muehling received the surprise recognition at the organization’s fall conference on October 25. The organization, which marked its 100th anniversary last year, serves as a resource for business educators to learn from one another and advance business education in New Hampshire.
“I like to find ways to keep my students up to date with all aspects of business and marketing,” Muehling said. “It is important to me to stay current with these topics, not only at the college level, but also industry standards.”
Muehling will also be recognized at the annual Edies awards banquet next June. She said it is her pleasure to represent the district that she’s called home since 1993.
“The West administration is so very proud of Mrs. Muehling,” said Assistant Principal Laura Lord. “She goes above and beyond on a daily basis to support students in any way she can. As a Building Level Instructional Leader, she supports her colleagues in the Business Department as well. Mrs. Muehling is one of the many people that make West High School the best kept secret in the city of Manchester.”
