MANCHESTER – On Tuesday, the latest graduate of Manchester's Adult High School program received his diploma in a ceremony at City Hall. It turns out the ceremony was only a bit longer than the time it took Wyatt Stetson to finish off his coursework.
Stetson explained before the ceremony that he was homeschooled and finished up his high school program last May. He then completed a certification program at Nashua Community College, which helped lead to a dream job offer. The only hitch? The employer required an official high school diploma. "I was able to connect with Rob Kleiman at the Manchester Adult Diploma program," Stetson said. "He took my transcripts and evaluated them to decide what I would need to receive a diploma through the program."
As it turned out, Stetson only needed one course to earn his diploma. He completed the coursework in a little more than two weeks, which led to a happy ending on the career front.
"I'm happy to share that I received another job offer from that same dream company," he said. "I'm thankful for this resource and the support from everyone involved who helped me along the way."
