May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we are pleased to invite students and families to a meaningful and informative program focused on supporting student mental health. Let’s Talk About Mental Health in Schools is presented in collaboration with Makin’ It Happen, a dedicated organization working towards enhancing community well-being.   • Who: Open to all interested in learning more about mental health supports in schools

Program Highlights

During this program, we will cover essential topics related to mental wellness for students and families, including the work underway and supports available in our schools. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Understanding mental health issues and warning signs

  • Developing practical strategies to maintain mental well-being in everyday life

  • Learning about mental health resources in our schools and the community

The event will be held at the District Welcome Center at historic French Hall, 148 Concord Street. Parking is available in the lot next to the building. Please use the entrance on the parking lot side of the building.
