Morning arrival starting 9/11Breakfast is available daily at 8:00 in the cafeteria. However, only students who are eating breakfast are allowed to enter the building before 8:15. Once inside, students are not permitted to leave the building. Keep in mind that teachers will not be present on the playground before 8:15. Therefore, children should not be dropped off unless a parent or guardian waits with them.
Starting Monday, students will enter the building at 8:15. K+1 will enter through the cafeteria, 2+4 through the back library door, and 3+5 through the garden door. These doors will close at 8:25, and any students arriving after 8:25 will need to enter the main entrance to pick up a tardy pass before going to class. Instruction starts at 8:30, so it is extremely important for students to be in their classrooms and ready to learn before 8:30.
School ends at 2:50. The teacher will lead each class to the playground for pickup. We would appreciate it if you could wait for your child's class to reach their designated pickup area before picking up your child. For the safety of all students, please be sure the teacher acknowledges you have connected with your child. Thank you.
This school year the gates into the playground will be locked during the school day to help keep our campus more secure. Everyone will need to be out of the playground area by 8:25 to we can lock the gates. The locks will be removed from the gates in the afternoon for dismissal. |

Green communication foldersCheck your students backpack for their green communication folder. There are many papers in their folder to start the year that need to be filled out and returned to the school.

Volunteers needed! Our students love being able to purchase popcorn for snack on Wednesdays. To make this available we rely on parent volunteers to come in on Wednesday mornings to make and bag the popcorn. If you are interested in volunteering on Wednesday mornings for about two hours please see Mrs. Wheeler in the office. |
