Open House is an event where parents and students can meet the teacher or teachers, tour the school building and classrooms, and receive a brief overview of class expectations and the curriculum for the year. It is not intended for discussing individual student progress. Parent-teacher conferences have been scheduled for November 2nd and 3rd, and during Open House, you will have the opportunity to reserve a conference time slot in your child's classroom(s).

Missing School: It Adds Up!
When your child attends school regularly and on time, they have the opportunity to excel academically and to establish a positive daily routine for learning.
Regular attendance allows for students to be involved in lessons, develop relationships with their peers, and make the most out of their education. It also gives the teacher the opportunity to assess each student and effectively plan ahead.
Excessive absences can lead to students missing out on important information or falling behind in their learning. Regular school attendance is an important indicator of your child's performance and success as they grow. Simply put, absences add up. |

Ways to contact your child's teacher:
- Email
- Call (603)624-6314 and leave them a message
- Class Tag App
We understand that as a parent, you may have specific concerns about your child's education and well-being. However, during student pickup, our teachers need to focus on ensuring a safe departure for all students with their families. We also respect the privacy of our students and their families, and therefore, we do not hold personal conversations about a student during this time. If you would like to speak with your child's teacher, please feel free to use one of the communication methods provided, and our teacher will respond to you as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding! |

Check your students backpack for their green communication folder. There are many papers in their folder to start the year that need to be filled out and returned to the school.

iReady Diagnostic continues this week. All students in grades K-5 will be participating in the iReady Diagnostic for both math and reading. This assessment is specifically designed to adapt to your child's individual comprehension level, providing valuable insights to their teachers to better support their learning. Please note that the primary goal of this evaluation is not to assign a grade but to enhance the learning process. We highly encourage your child to take their time and put their best effort forward to ensure accurate results. Here are some helpful tips you can review with your student at home before they take the diagnostic at school.

We are excited to share that we have teamed up with NH Audubon to create educational gardens near our school. The old gardens have been replaced with new plants by the Audubon and volunteers over the last few weeks. The final design of the garden will be finished next week and displayed at our open house event on Thursday. It is important to respect the garden by staying on the designated walkways and not disturbing the plants, which are meant for both people and nature to enjoy. |

If you're interested in helping out with classroom preparation, supervising during lunch, or organizing games at recess, please contact Mrs. Wheeler at the office to participate. We appreciate any extra help! |
