On Tuesday, students are allowed to wear their costumes to school, but please do not bring any masks or props since we want to ensure the safety of all students and prevent any loss of costume items before trick-or-treating at night. Students are not allowed to wear fake blood as part of their costume to school.
Our teachers have planned some Halloween activities for the day, but we will not be having any classroom parties. Please do not send any food items to be shared with the class as the Manchester School District has a strict wellness policy that prohibits food in classrooms due to allergies and other dietary restrictions. This policy also applies to food sent to the school building on birthdays.
On Wednesday, after the trick-or-treating fun, your child can bring in two snack-size pieces of candy for their snack. However, please also send along a healthier snack option to go with it. Starting the following Monday, our regular snack policy will be back in effect, so please refrain from sending candy to school. |

Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for November 2nd and 3rd. We thank those who have already scheduled an appointment slot during open house. If you missed open house, please contact your child's teacher to arrange a conference time to discuss your student's progress at the start of the school year.

|
Ways to contact your child's teacher:
- Email
- Call (603)624-6314 and leave them a message
- Class Tag App
We understand that as a parent, you may have specific concerns about your child's education and well-being. However, during student pickup, our teachers need to focus on ensuring a safe departure for all students with their families. We also respect the privacy of our students and their families, and therefore, we do not hold personal conversations about a student during this time. If you would like to speak with your child's teacher, please feel free to use one of the communication methods provided, and our teacher will respond to you as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding! |

October's Show Up Class CompetitionThe class with the least amount of tardiness this month will win the competition and an award. We want to make sure everyone has enough time to get ready for the day and start learning at 8:30, so arriving on time is super important. Let's keep up the great work and make punctuality and education our top priorities!
As of now, Mrs. Hughs' third-grade class is leading the competition with 98% of her students arriving on time for the first 18 days of the month. Mrs. Bourgeois' fourth-grade class and Ms. Caron's first-grade class are tied for second place with 97%. Remember to arrive at school on time for the next two days and help your class win! You can check the leaderboard to see your class's position in the competition.

Missing School: It Adds Up!When your child attends school regularly and on time, they have the opportunity to excel academically and to establish a positive daily routine for learning.
Regular attendance allows for students to be involved in lessons, develop relationships with their peers, and make the most out of their education. It also gives the teacher the opportunity to assess each student and effectively plan ahead.
Excessive absences can lead to students missing out on important information or falling behind in their learning. Regular school attendance is an important indicator of your child's performance and success as they grow. Simply put, absences add up. |

Students can buy a bag of freshly popped popcorn for only 50 cents every Wednesday as a snack. Popcorn orders are taken during attendance in the morning, so students need to arrive on time to place their order. Each student is limited to two bags.
