Bobcat Bulletin

Beech Street School believes in the power of a growth mindset. We are committed to our education, and we demonstrate resilience by persevering through our mistakes. With an optimistic outlook and consistent effort, we understand that with practice, we can overcome challenges. We take responsibility for our actions and learning, and treat one another with respect, to foster a caring and safe environment for all. As a community, we take pride in being Bobcat PROUD together!

Welcome Bobcat Postcards!

We've sent out welcome postcards to all students who registered before 8/19/24. These postcards let you know who your teacher is and invited you to a meet and greet this week. If you didn't receive a postcard, don't worry! We'll be ready to tell you who your student's teacher is when you arrive. See you there!

Come and meet your teacher for the 2024-2025 school year on the playground between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd. Your teacher will be waiting for you in the same spot where they'll greet you on the first day of school. Also, if you need a backpack, we have some available for you. We're really looking forward to seeing you and kicking off the new school year together!

Bobcat T-Shirts for sale $15 each

Bobcat T-shirts will be available for purchase at the meet and greet. Shirts are $15 each and are available first come first serve.

Welome Mrs. Lievens!

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Mrs. Lievens, who has been an integral part of the Wilson community, will now be taking on the role of Assistant Principal at Beech Street on a full-time basis. Her dedication and commitment to education have been evident in her previous role, and we are confident that she will bring that same passion to her new position. Mrs. Lievens is eager to build strong, positive relationships with the students and families at Beech Street and is looking forward to contributing to the school's supportive and engaging learning environment.

Welcome Ms. Delvalle Vargas

We're also excited to share that we'll be starting off the new school year with a fantastic addition to our team - Seisha Delvalle Vargas, our new administrative assistant! Ms. Delvalle Vargas, who worked at Beech Street as a paraprofessional last year, will now be the friendly face of the office. Not only is she a valuable employee, but she's also a dedicated parent of two students at Beech Street School. Ms. Delvalle Vargas is bilingual and will be there to provide immediate support to all our English and Spanish speaking families. We're thrilled to have her on board!

Contacting your child's teacher

Ways to contact your child's teacher:

  1. Email

  2. Call (603)624-6314 and leave them a message

  3. School Status Connect App (coming soon)

We understand that as a parent, you may have specific concerns about your child's education and well-being. However, during student pickup, our teachers need to focus on ensuring a safe departure for all students with their families. We also respect the privacy of our students and their families, and therefore, we do not hold personal conversations about a student during this time. If you would like to speak with your child's teacher, please feel free to use one of the communication methods provided, and our teacher will respond to you as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!

Volunteers Welcome!

If you're interested in helping out with classroom preparation, supervising during lunch, or organizing games at recess, please contact Mrs. Wheeler at the office to participate. We appreciate any extra help!

We are looking for two or three volunteers to pop and bag popcorn on Wednesdays. Our previous volunteers, who have been with us for the past two years, have moved on to middle school. Wednesday popcorn days are highly anticipated by our students, and it would be wonderful to consistently offer them this treat each week.
