We are excited to reveal the new logo for Manchester School District! The letter M is central to the logo, with a school clock tower rising above and the Merrimack River swirling below. The decorative flourishes on both sides are a nod to the historical architecture of downtown Manchester.
The logo was designed in-house by District staff member Todd Foote. As part of the process, we created multiple logo options, then we held a series of focus groups with students. The feedback from students – including elementary, middle and high schoolers – was insightful and helped us refine our options down to a final two. We then asked students and staff to vote. We received more than 3,000 votes, and 70 percent voted in favor of our new logo.
Over the next month, we will be rolling out the new logo. You’ll see it pop up on our social media channels, printed material and our new website. We want to thank those who helped with this process, particularly the students at Bakersville, Webster, McLaughlin and West High who took part in focus groups.
