Central student waves to the audience during graduation

MANCHESTER – On Saturday, June 15, Manchester School District celebrated the Class of 2024. The day was the culmination of years of work, and a testament to the grit and determination of the graduates. In total, nearly 800 students received diplomas with thousands cheering them on.

Manchester School of Technology

Leading off graduation ceremonies was the Manchester School of Technology High School. As part of the design of the high school, all 61 graduates needed to master all competences in order to graduate. In addition, all graduates completed at least one Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.

Manchester Memorial High School

The second ceremony of the day was for Manchester Memorial High School. A total of 284 students received diplomas during graduation ceremonies. The class included 80 New Hampshire Scholars and 31 members of the National Honor Society. 101 students earned scholarships worth a total of $100,000. As noted by Principal St. Onge, this "special" class – which started in his first year at the school – helped reshape the fabric of the school community. Well done!

Manchester High School West

The third ceremony was for Manchester High School West. The 101st graduating class, according to Principal Dichard, was caring, empathetic, globally-minded, innovative and resilient. A total of 154 students received diplomas during graduation ceremonies, representing one of the highest graduation rates for the school in the last decade. Students earned $130,000 in scholarships, including Vick Mahindru's $40,000 Amazon Future Engineers Award. The class, which included the first GEAR UP cohort, boasts the national GEAR UP Student of the Year, Mackenzie Verdiner.

Manchester High School Central

The fourth and final graduation ceremony was for Manchester High School Central. A total of 254 students received diplomas during the ceremony. The class included multiple athletics state champions, a national finalist for the High School Heisman, a delegate to the U.S. Senate Youth Program, and included members of the robotics team that went to the world championships. 42 students earned scholarships, worth a grand total of $200,000.
